Our Story

We’re David Hough and Roy Thomas. After working together for 14 years, we began talking seriously about starting a food truck three years ago. We explored different concepts, but nothing clicked until we focused on what we loved most: regional smash burgers from around the country.

T-Town Burgers started with inspiration and a shared obsession for great burgers. About five years ago, we watched Hamburger America and fell in love with classic regional smash burgers—simple, honest burgers with real history behind them.

Our favorite—and the foundation of T-Town Burgers—is the Oklahoma Fried Onion Burger: thin-smashed beef, onions cooked right into the patty, melted cheese, and a soft steamed bun. Simple. Bold. Perfect.

Today, T-Town Burgers brings those classic burger styles to Toledo, Ohio—made fresh on the griddle with quality ingredients and no shortcuts. Just burgers done right.
